UDHAMPUR, May 31: Forest Protection Force (FPF) seized Deodar scants and log, measuring total 41.72 cft, along with cutting tools from Kud block in forest range of Dudu.
On the receipt of specific information, the party of Forest Protection Force, Gamma Unit J-5 Udhampur, comprising of Rakesh Singh (Dy Inspector), Romesh Singh (FPF Guard) and Rahoul Thakur (FPF Watcher), seized nine Deodar scants measuring 29.07 cft and one lone of Deodar measuring 12.65 cft in Compartment number 110C/D, beat Bupp, block Kud, Range Dudu.
Besides the Deodar scants and log, one small hand- saw and an axe were also confiscated from the spot.
The operation was supervised by Sudesh Kumar, Assistant Director, under the overall control of Hitashi Sharma, Deputy Director, Forest Protection Force, Udhampur.
