UDHAMPUR, Nov 28: District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Yasha Mudgal, who is also District Election Officer, Udhampur convened a meeting of all Booth Level Officers (BLOs) of all three Assembly constituencies of the district Udhampur in two different sessions here today.
During the meeting, DEO enquired about the distribution of voter slips and asked to distribute voter slips among the voters of their respective areas cent percent in time. The BLOs were also directed to make a voter’s facilitation desk on the polling day and also to ensure comfort of polling parties at their respective polling booth.
Mr. Mudgal stressed upon BLOs to make proper reporting on prescribed hours for better poll and queue management on the polling day.
DEO stressed upon the BLOs to encourage voters to come in large to use their right to vote. She said that every BLO would also be appreciated by cash prize if they work for turning out voters above 85 percent in their respective booths.
As many as 493 BLOs participated in the meeting and caps were also distributed among the BLOs under SVEEP.
