RAMBAN, Oct 22: A  10-day education- cum- motivational tour was flagged off from Chanderkot by Commander of Rashtriya Rifles Sector under Delta Force today.
The tour named  ‘Sair-e-Watan’,  comprised of  22 members with two teachers and twenty students from far flung villages of Ramban district and Dharmkund who would be visiting Delhi and Udaipur from Oct 22 to  October 31. The students will visit places of historical, educational and cultural interest in Delhi and Udaipur during their ten days tour.
Delta Force has always encouraged bringing people together from remotest parts of Doda district and organising tours to various places in the country.  In a similar effort students living in remote places of Ramban district and Dharmkund will move out and visit various parts of the country, thereby widening their horizon and providing them with an opportunity to interact with various dignitaries during the course of the tour.
The children would get an opportunity to have an insight into historical significance of these heritage cities and experience the modernization and development taking place in these cities.
