NEW DELHI, July 29: Delhi Airport celebrated its 3rd edition of the GMR IGIA Awards at Kingdom Of Dreams, Gurgaon. Dazzling Shibani Dandekar with the very talented Hussain, together hosted the gala evening.
The gala event had it all — the winner, the achievers, the performers, the cheers, the noise and the captive audience. Amit Arora, Managing Director and Ankur Mahajan, Director Buddy Retail Private Limited were overwhelmed with happiness on being awarded as Winner of “Retail outlet of the year – Domestic” for Samsung Zone & Gadget Point located in Terminal-3.
The King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan & the guru of contemporary dance in India Terence Lewis gave sizzling performances dancing to the tunes of famous song “Lungi Dance” and many others.
Shah Rukh Khan talked about the event, expressed his gratitude & said “Thank you. It’s been a pleasure to be here tonight with you all who in my opinion are the true & deserving superstars who work tireless days & sleepless nights, just to make flyers like me happy. Be it the CISF who watch over us like guardian angels, the men & the women of housekeeping who keep the airport clean, the guys handling the airside operations or the companies that make sure the airport runs in a smooth fashion- thank you guys. You rock”.
Business Chairman GMR, CEO, Senior team of GMR Group along with the entire airport community top management from major Airlines, Cargo Operators, Retail and F&B Concessionaires, CISF, Customs, Immigration, Ground Handlers etc were present in packed auditorium.
