Delegation of SEECC, JKGTF submits memo to Advisor Sharma

JAMMU, Jan 10: A joint delegation of School Education Employees Coordination Committee (SEECC) and Jammu Kashmir Government Teachers Forum (JKGTF) led by Amar Nath Thakur (chairman, Incharge Cadres Coordination Committee) met K K Sharma, Advisor to Lt Governor of J&K and submitted a charter of demands.
The main demands submitted were, convening regularization committee meeting twice a month on fixed dates to regularize all remaining 11000 (back log and fresh) incharge plus 2 lecturers, joint directors, CEOs, principals, ZEOs and headmasters, benefit of TA and all other allowance to PSC plus 2 lecturers appointed under SRO 202, clearing all seniority cases of principals, headmasters, lecturers and all other cadres to minimize unnecessary litigations in courts, regularizing I/c ZEOs promoted as I/c principals or reserve 20% vacancies for their regularization as per seniority.
The other demands mentioned in the charter were deputing all untrained plus 2 lecturers appointed through PSC for B Ed training, sanctioning career progression scheme (CPS) in favour of all lecturers, filling all vacant posts of ZEOs, adjustment of 250 surplus lecturers, 650 masters and 2500 teachers of Jammu province on rational basis, adjustments of all newly promoted plus 2 incharge lecturers of all streams without further delay, transfer of lecturers and masters serving in far flung areas to their home towns as per transfer policy norms, releasing pending salary of 227 SSA head teachers, etc.
The delegation told the Advisor that senior most joint directors must be appointed on the post of directors and JKBOSE chairman under central rules and under rule 481 of 2010 of School Education Department.
The Advisor heard very patiently all the demands and issued necessary directions to Commissioner Secretary School Education to expedite the regularization process and also put up all other important issues.
Those present in the meeting were Ravesh Saraf (general secretary, Plus 2 Incharge Lecturers Forum), Satish Datta (president JKGTF), Daleep Kumar (press secretary), Vijay Sharma, Nirajan Sharma and others.
