JAMMU, Nov 27: A delegation of in-charge lecturers led by Amar Nath Thakur, chairman J&K School Education Employees Coordination Committee met R.R Bhatnagar, Advisor to J&K LG and submitted a memorandum of demands.
The demand included regularisation of 11000 in-charge gazetted officers and lecturers of School Education Department who were not regularised since 2007.
The delegation members said that these officers included Joint Directors, CEOs, Principals, ZEOs, Lecturers and Headmasters.
They urged upon the Advisor to ensure weekly regularisation committee meetings to clear the regularization cases of the 11000 expired/retired and serving in-charge lecturers and officers on priority in a time bound manner.
Other demands raised by the delegation were issuing regularisation orders to 97 lecturers of chemistry, economics, botany, environment sciences, Joint Directors and CEOs who have been cleared by DPC.
Demand of grant of charge allowance to in-charge lecturers, principals, headmasters, CEOs elevated from 2019 was also discussed.
The Advisor assured early redressal of the issues.
Daleep Kumar, Jagdeev Singh and Satish Datta were also present in the delegation.
