JAMMU, May 3: A delegation of Kashmiri Pandits prominent organizations met DyChief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh in presence of MLC Surinder Ambardar to discuss the various issues related with the displaced Kashmiri Pandit  community.
The meeting was attended by the R.K Raina-President ASKPC Jammu, Ashok Baroo -KPS Ambphalla, Vijay Bakaya-NC,  Motikoul BJP, BL Pandita-JKNM Jammu, TN Bhat -BJP, SK Koul BJP, SK   Koul JKNM, PL Badgami-KHC Jammu, BL Bhat, Dr. Arjan Nath Pandita President PNBMT Jammu, PL Bhat, AK Takroo, AK Raina -All India Kashmiri Samaj.
Various issues discussed  in the meeting were honorable return of Kashmiri Pandits in a concentrated and compact place  with proper security and political empowerment, creation of employment avenues for displaced people in a time bound, improving basic amenities in migrant  quarters like potable water supply, electricity , drainage education and health care, promotion of displaced  employees in Jammu , Temple and Shrine Bill issue, Special  Recruitment Drive, issue of Leave Salary, Revamping of relief organization with total transparency etc.
DyCM  gave a patient hearing  while listening to the demands raised by the organizations and assured   them that all their issues would be looked into.
He also said that issues like improving the basic amenities like water supply, electricity better medical facilities etc.  in migrant quarters at Jagti camp and others places will be taken to address  on priority basis .
Regarding other issues like special recruitment drive, promotion and leave salary etc Dr. Singh also assured them to address these issues.
