JAMMU, Nov 18: Jammu Pvt Schools & ETT Institutes Association (Progressive) has expressed its dismay over unprecedented delay in appointment of new Chairman of the J&K Board of School Education (BOSE).
After much delayed constitution of selection committee, there is no progress over the matter while on the other hand, administrative lapses on academic front like failure of series system question papers and inadequate date sheets of different routine examinations are causing unrest among students, the Association explained.
In view of extra burdened administrative working in the secretariat office of School Education Department, present management of BOSE is unable to address the day to day issues and problems of the students, Association said and reiterated its demand for bifurcation of BOSE in view of geographical compulsion of the State.
