BANGKOK, Aug 27: Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday called on Prime Minister of Thailand Prayut Chan-o-cha here.
“Smt Nirmala Sitharaman calls on Mr Prayut Chan-o-cha, Hon’ble Prime Minister of Thailand in Bangkok,”said an official tweet.
Ms Sitharaman also met with Prawit Wongsuwan, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister of Thailand.
Both discussed matters concerning strengthening India-Thailand strategic ties, sources said.
An Indian delegation let by Defence Minister Ms Sitharaman is in Thailand to strengthen Indo-Thai defence cooperation and strategic ties.
