JAMMU, Mar 28: Jammu and Kashmir Coordination Committee of Trade Union (JKCCTU) today suggested the Government of J&K UT to deduct one day basic salary of all Government and Semi-Government employees including pensioners to fight the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic.
It was stated by Mohd Maqbol, president and general secretary, Gurmeet Singh of the Trade union.
They also demanded the Government to ensure safety measures of all the employees who were associated with the essential services to combat deadly virus.
They appealed all the employees, workers, NGOs to fully cooperate with the Government during this lockdown period by rendering their services.
