JAMMU, May 24: An unidentified decomposed male body was recovered today from a canal in Miran Sahib area in outskirts of this winter capital of the State.
According to a police spokesman, the decomposed dead body of an unidentified man of age about 45 years was spotted this morning in a canal near Ekta Morh in Maralian area of Miran Sahib by some locals.
On getting information from locals, a police team from police station Miran Sahib reached the spot, evicted the body from canal and shifted it to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification and postmortem.
A case in this regard was registered at police station Miran Sahib and further investigations were on.
