JAMMU, July 31: A decomposed human body was recovered today from a vacant plot near Amar Singh Club in Bikram Chowk area of Jammu City.
According to a police official, the body was recovered this evening after staff of Amar Singh Club observed foul smell coming from the nearby plot. He said it is not clear whether the body is of a male or female as it is completely decomposed.
“The body has been shifted to mortuary room of GMC Jammu for postmortem while inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC has been initiated in this connection at police post Nehru Market,” the official added.
