He demanded establishment of Degree College at Marh.
He further demanded that Community Health Centre be made fully functional and adequate Medical and Para-Medical staff be posted here. He said due to lack of adequate staff, the patients of the area are suffering and are forced to move to Jammu for even minor treatment. He also stressed for creation of sports facilities and opening of a Library at Marh besides provision of irrigation water to the farmers.
Mr Sharma called upon Central and State Govt to declare the Border villages of March block as ALC , as there is frequent firing and shelling from across the border. He said people of the area have to migrate frequently in view of shelling. They have suffered immensely during past many years. There fore, the people of this border belt deserve reservation not only in terms of jobs but also in professionals colleges. These people be brought under ALC category, he asserted.
