KATHUA, Jan 28: Hiranagar Police has recovered a dead body of male from village Payari in Hiranagar tehsil today.
He has been identified as Kuldeep Kumar, 40, Son of Bishen Dass of Tali. Kuldeep was missing for last four days and today his body was seen by the villagers of Payari in bushes and they informed the police.
A police spokesman said that soon after getting the information a police party was dispatched to the village which took the dead body into its custody.
He said the dead body has been kept at mortuary in SDH Hiranagar and it will be handed over to family after postmortem tomorrow.
The cause of his death is not known. Hiranagar Police has registered a case and started investigation.
