SAMBA, Apr 25: The dead body of a widow was found under suspicious circumstances in Kaloa village of Samba.
According to the information received from the police, the woman was found hanging from a tree near her house, after which her family members took her to the District Hospital, Samba. On reaching the hospital, the doctor declared her as brought dead.
The deceased woman has been identified as 32-year-old Soma Devi, wife of late Sandeep Kumar, resident of Kaloa Samba. Let it be known that a few months ago her husband Sandeep Kumar had ended his life by committing suicide. After the post-mortem, the body has been handed over to the family members for last rites. In this context, the police have registered a case and started further investigation.
