DODA, July 23: District Development Commissioner Simrandeep Singh withheld the salary of Roshan Lal, Programme Officer (PO), ICDS Doda over slow progress of registrations of employees in Aadhaar enabled biometric attendance system.
DDC’s order came in wake of poor performance of PO ICDS, who has not been able to ensure complete registration of Aadhar enabled employees on AEBAS portal inspite of repeated instructions from Deputy Commissioner’s Office.
According to the order, 867 employees of ICDS Doda have not registered on the said portal yet, over which the higher authorities have conveyed displeasure towards the slow progress of the department in this regard.
DC in his order has directed District Treasury Officer Doda not to draw the salary of PO ICDS for the month of July 2018 till further orders. Moreover PO ICDS has been given 24 hours to ensure the completion of registration process, failing which departmental action will be initiated against him as per the rules.
