It is pertinent to mention here that Government of India has taken several initiatives to ensure availability of quality medicines at affordable prices for all and one such initiative is the scheme called Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadi Pariyojana (PMBJP).
Under the said scheme, quality medicines are made available for sale to the public through dedicated retail outlets called Janaushadi Kendras at very affordable prices.
