REASI, Apr 27: Vice Chairperson (VC) District Development Council (DDC) Reasi, Advocate Sajra Qadir here today inaugurated a bridge at Shadole Nallah.
The bridge was a long pending demand of the public of Shadole and its adjoining areas.
Speaking on the occasion the VC said that public of Shadole, Tehsil administration Mahore and District Administration Reasi played a good role in the construction of the bridge.
She said that the PMGSY team gave its best in modifying far flung areas of the district especially in Sub Division Mahore.
Qadir laid stress on the completion of bridges by the concerned authorities as heavy rains leaves the nallahs flooded thereby creating a mess for the public as the people remain stranded on one and another side of the rivulets for hours.
She asked the public not to heed rumors regarding projects and contact her directly for any query.
The VC asked the public to participate in developmental processes.
“I believe in increasing the quality of my area by collectively empowering all the sectors,” she maintained.
After working on ground problems like road connectivity, shortage of staff in schools, medical aids, mobile schools, Qadir asserted that communication between leader and the public is very much essential for development but was rarely thought of and she assured that the same will not be ignored in her area.
