THANNAMANDI, Feb 18: Fulfilling a long-standing demand of the local community, a hand pump was inaugurated by DDC Thannamandi, Abdul Qayoom Mir here today.
This vital initiative will benefit thousands of worshippers (Nawazis) and students of Madarsa Tut Tauheed.
Speaking on the occasion, Mufti Abdul Raheem Qasmi, Chief Patron of Madarsa Tut Tauheed and Imam-o-Khateeb of Jamia Masjid, Thannamandi, lauded Abdul Qayoom Mir for his dedicated efforts in ensuring the installation of the hand pump.
“This initiative stands as a testament to Mir’s commitment to community welfare and his unwavering efforts in improving public facilities in the region, ” he said and emphasized that this project fulfills a long-pending demand of the locals and the entire community is grateful for this noble initiative.
The residents of Thannamandi expressed their gratitude to DDC, who also serves as the District Chairman, Waqf Rajouri, for sanctioning and facilitating the installation of a hand pump near Jamia Masjid Thannamandi.
Among others who attended the inauguration ceremony included Tanveer Khan, Qazi Zaffar, Shahbaz Khan, Master Mumtaz Khan, Haji Hameed, Manzoor Mirz, Hafiz Amjad Ali and many others.
