REASI, Apr 8: District Development Commissioner, Reasi-Sushma Chauhan reviewed the progress registered under Aadhaar Card Scheme in the district.
It was informed in the meeting that most vital and unique Aadhaar card scheme is under vigorous implementation across the district and district has highest biometric enrolment percentage in the state.
She called upon all the concerned officials to jointly make sustained efforts for full coverage of Aadhaar card scheme in the district so that the citizens of this part of the country also get proper and authentic identity.
She also directed all the stake holders to adopt a coordinated approach and organize special camps at each village particularly in the remote areas, across the district to ensure that the people living in the remote areas also get their Aadhaar cards prepared. The problems reported in Aadhaar card registration process at different booths and the future plans for expediting the registration process were also discussed in the meeting.
“We will also start additional four centers at various untouched locations shortly to ensure cent percent enrollment,” added Chauhan. She called upon the people who are yet to get enrolled to participate in the enrolment process.
