UDHAMPUR, Sept 29: District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Dr. Piyush Singla today convened a meeting with officers of R&B departments to review the progress of roads, buildings, bridges and other ongoing developmental works of Municipalities and other departments under taken by R&B under CRF, NABARD, State sector and languishing projects in his office chamber.
SE PWD, Shakti Sagar gave a detailed brief about the ongoing developmental projects being executed by R&B like roads, buildings and bridges under different sectors of the district Udhampur.
Threadbare discussions were held on various Centrally sponsored & State Sector Schemes which include Status of Jeevika Bhawan, Udhampur -Ramnagar road, special treatment to Kagadmad spot, Devika theme park, renovation of residential quarters, status of Ramnagar – Dudu road, culvert at Birwan to Dhanodi and status of execution of works under Municipality areas etc were discussed in detail.
While reviewing the project wise physical and financial progress of all developmental works the DDC asked the PWD departments to expedite the process of ongoing developmental projects and complete these projects within a given time frame. Directions were issued to concerned officers to gear up men and machinery for effective and timely completion of these developmental projects.
