DDC reviews implementation of National Health programmes

DODA, Jan 15: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode chaired a meeting of the officers of Health Department to take the first hand appraisal about various National Health programmes under implementation in the district.
The DDC in detail enquired about the achievements made in all the National Health programmes viz. JSY, JSSK, RBSK, IDSP, UIP, RNTCP, NLEP, AIDS Control Programme, NPCDCS, PM National Dialysis Program, Ayushman Bharat, Mera Aspataal and Kayakalp program from the officers, besides taking stock of the vacancies under various programmes.
Taking serious note of shortfall in institutional deliveries, the DDC directed all the BMOs to improve the figures and fix responsibility on all ASHA workers to ensure that all deliveries are conducted in their nearby health institutions without any fail.
The DDC also expressed satisfaction with the improvement in sex ratio which has reached to 913. Regarding status of screening of Non communicable diseases including diabetes and blood pressure, the DDC directed the concerned to issue order to all Sub Centres to screen all the persons who steps inside their premises.
Dr Doifode was apprised that the recovery rate of COVID-19 in the district is 97% with 33 active positive patients. He was informed by the CMO Doda that the positive rate in Hepatitis A, B, C has also comes down reasonably across the district.
While assessing the progress under Ayushman Bharat and PM-JAY SEHAT scheme, the DDC strictly directed all the BMOs to ensure the registration of beneficiaries as per SECC data at OPD levels. He also directed the CMO to designate BMO Ghat as District Nodal Officer to organize eye camps across the district so that the patients with cataract problem can be operated on priority basis.
Among others present during the meeting were MS Associated Hospital GMC Doda, Deputy CMO, DHO, BMOs, District Immunization Officer, District Epidemiologist, besides other concerned officials/coordinators of various programmes.
