RAMBAN, July 24: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Showkat Aijaz Bhat today visited Gool sub division and interacted with the locals at a public grievances redressal camp.
The camp was attended by PRIs and people of Gool, Prathmlla, Mahakund, Dsehan, Gundi Gagrah, Kalimasta and Bhendasa village. SDM Gool Gayas Ul Haq, BMO, BDO engineers of various departments and other sub divisional level officers were present in the camp.
Locals demanded improvement in power supply scenario, construction of footbridge at Chunna, upgradation of roads including Kantha Morh to Bolni Top, Chaman Gagra road, restoration of Dsehan water supply scheme, completion of Sangaldan Power receiving station, employment generation for local youth and benefits of old age and other pension schemes to eligible persons of the area.
The DDC directed the officers to address the problems of public pertaining to their respective departments in a time bound manner. He directed the BDO to develop water bodies, water ponds and check dams according to the need of locals and prepare a plan in this regard in coordination with PRIs and locals. He directed the engineers of PWD and PMGSY Department to expedite the road construction works to benefit the rural population.
The SDM was asked to conduct revenue camps for issuing certificates and attestation of inheritance mutation on the spot and ensure presence of patwaris in their respective halqas for public convenience.
