DDC Kishtwar takes stock of facilities in quarantine centre

KISHTWAR, Apr 13: District Development Commissioner Rajinder Singh Tara today inspected the quarantine centre of Sarthal and took stock of facilities there.
He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar, Executive Engineer R&B, Mohinder Kumar, AD Chief Education Office, Munish kumar among others.
DDC took stock of various facilities available in the quarantine center established at Girls Hostel Sarthal and directed the concerned authorities to keep the centres ready in all respects.
He also inspected various facilities like the bedding, hygiene, electricity and water and asked AD , CEO office to plug all the shortcomings and ensure the fumigation and sanitisation of the quarantine centre.
Meanwhile, the DDC also visited the landslide hit areas at village Gahn, Sarthal and took stock of the damages inflicted by landslide to the road connecting Sarthal area with Kishtwar and directed the Executive Engineer, R&B to expedite the repair work on the damaged road and ensure the restoration of connectivity to the area at the earliest.
While interacting with the residents the DDC urged them to follow the guidelines and SOPs to prevent themselves from the threat of spreading corona virus infection.
He further asked them to use masks, wash hands frequently with soap and report to the administration of anyone with foreign or out of UT history.
He further asked the Sarpanches to distribute the masks supplied by district administration among all the residents of area particularly among the vulnerable families and also aware the public about the universal usage of masks to prevent infection.
