DDC Doda convenes public grievance redressal camp at Bhallara

DODA: Deputy Commissioner, Bhupinder Kumar today called for early redressal of public grievances besides effective implementation of various government schemes for public welfare and overall development of the district.

DDC said this while holding a public grievance redressal camp along with district and sectoral officers at village Bhallara, Tehsil Chiralla.
During the camp DDC interacted with the people of the area and resolved the problems highlighted by the public by passing on sopt instructions/directions to the district officers.

The people of the area apprised the DDC about various demands including road connectivity to the area, toilets at High School Bhallara, supply of clear drinking water, repair of transformers, placing of adequate staff in health and education sector besides the demand for construction of an upgraded health centre at Bhallara.

DDC directed the district officers to remain in contact with the people, pay regular visits and organize camps in all the remote areas to generate awareness about the various government schemes designed for the welfare of general public.

While briefing the gathering, DDC informed about various developmental initiatives taken by the government and asked the people to come forward for participatory planning. He further assured the people that more such grievance camps shall be organized for helping the rural population and getting their problems mitigated within shortest possible time.

It was also impressed upon the departments of Agriculture, Floriculture, Animal husbandry, FCS&CA to organize awareness camps in the area shortly after Eid.

Later, the DDC inspected Government High School, Bhallara and had an interactive session with the students. He also interacted with the people of village Paneja, Bhella, Thallela on his way back to headquarters.
