DODA, Sept 27: To finalize the report of the damages caused by rains and flash floods a meeting of all officers of Revenue and Engineering Departments was convened under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Doda Shyam Vinod Meena here today.
While addressing the officers present in the meeting, DDC informed them about the categorisation of damages to the houses and buildings and about how to group the percentage of damages in different categories i.e partial, severe and complete.
He also directed them to mention in detail the cause of damage, type of house damaged and magnitude of damage so that it clearly indicates the category in which the damaged building could be adjusted for preparing the compensation. Besides he directed them to maintain the proper photography of the damaged buildings and stressed on the physical verification of all the damaged structures so that the actual ground position could be reported to the higher authorities. He also enjoined upon them to disburse all the compensations payments in the camps to ensure transparency in disbursement.
The Sub-Division wise groups of revenue officers and officers of engineering and line departments were created and each group was asked to cross check and finalize the already submitted reports at District Headquarters, besides all the officers were instructed to submit the pending reports in shortest possible time.
While taking a review of the functioning of the new administrative units, DDC assured all possible help and directed the officers to start their work at make shift, hired offices and other available accommodations till the Government offices are not constructed.
ADC Doda Imam Din, ACR Doda S.C Dogra, SDM Bhaderwah Bhupinder Kumar, SDM Gandoh Dr. Khalid Hussain, SDM Assar, Navdeep Wazir, XEn PWD (R&B) Division Doda, Madan Lal, XEn PWD (R&B) Division Bhaderwah, All Tehsildars and other senor Revenue officers attended the meeting.
