DODA, May 26: Claiming that some officers in District Administration don’t cooperate with the elected representatives of the local body, District Development Council (DDC) Chairman Doda, Dhananter Singh Kotwal has today threatened to resign with all the Council members if this attitude of the officers continues.
“The district administration of Doda least bothers to discuss plans and developmental works with us,” he told reporters adding: “Even we are not allowed to park our vehicles during meetings and other functions at offices of the district administration.”
Singh further said that all the 31 DDC and BDC members are elected by the people of Doda for taking their issues to the concerned authorities for solutions but some officers in district administration are creating hindrances in this.
He claimed that all this is being done deliberately.
“However, things differ from man-to-man and the earlier officers in district administration had not such an attitude but we definitely have resentment against the present officers as they are out to make the democratically elected bodies defunct,” the DDC Chairman continued.
