JAMMU, July 24: DDC Chairman Jammu, Bharat Bhushan has claimed that BJP led Government is committed to provide tap water, electricity, civic and other amenities to the people in every nook and corner of J&K.
Bhushan was addressing a gathering after dedicating an upgraded power transformer with capacity 250 KV to the people of Makwal village near international border in Marh area.
Later on, he listened to the problems of the people and assured time bound resolution of the issues and immediate mitigation of the burning issues.
The DDC Chairman said that Centre is liberal in sanctioning funds and therefore time is not far when all the basic amenities will be provided at the doorsteps of the people and the need to run towards cities will end once and for all.
He said that under Jal Jeevan Mission scheme, potable water is reaching every household in the Union Territory.
“The dream of uninterrupted and regulated power supply is also becoming a reality soon with JPDCL working hard and centre ensuring adequate power generation resources,” Bhushan maintained.
Others present on the occasion were BDC Chairman Mandal-Phallayian, Madan Lal; BJP Mandal Pradhan, Nihal Singh; Pooja, Panch, Panchayat Makwal and Mandal Pradhan SC Morcha.
