JAMMU, Nov 20: An essay writing competition was organized by the NSS unit of Dogra College of Education (DCoE) on the occasion of National Integration Day in the college premises under the guidance of Rajni Manhas Programe Officer NSS.
The topic of the essay was “How can teacher contribute in promoting National Intregration”. 42 volunteers participated in the competition. Earlier Shefal Sharma, vice president, Dogra College of Education motivated the students.
The panel of judge included Indu Puri, Rashim Chib and Shamsher Singh, senior Lecturers of the College. Agar Chander was adjusted 1st, while Arti Sharma and Shabnam were declared 2nd and 3rd respectively and Richa Salathia bagged the consolation prize. Prizes and certificates were also distributed among the winners.
Prof B D Damral, Principal of the college was present on the occasion.
