DCHFC staffers contribute Rs 25 lakh for J&K flood victims

NEW DELHI, Oct 18:The Delhi Cooperative Housing Financial Corporation (DCHFC) has contributed Rs 25 lakh to the Delhi Lt Governor’s relief fund for the flood victims of Jammu and Kashmir.
DCHFC managing director Rinku Dhugga and general manager GL Meena handed over a cheque of Rs 25 lakh to Lt Governor Najeeb Jung at the Raj Niwas.
All officers and employees of the corporation have contributed their one day’s salary for the purpose.
DCHFC has earned Rs 43.60 crore during the last financial year on housing loans in Delhi.
The Delhi government has 96 per cent share in DCHFC and it has issued instructions to the corporation to extend housing loan facilities to the common man, apart from boosting cooperative group housing. (Agencies)
