KATHUA, July 26: Taking dig over Pakistan for sponsoring terrorism in India District Congress Committee (DCC) carried out protest demonstration at Hiranagar under the leadership of PCC general secretary, Ex-Minister, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma and DCC President and former  MLC,  Subash Chander Gupta.
Hundreds of Congress activists carried out protest rally from town, which ended at SDM Office. During this, the protestors raising slogans against Pakistan, Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharief also set ablaze the effigy of him.
In addition, the protestors also showed strong resentment against State as well as Union Government for its failure at dissimilar fronts having direct link with the common-public.
Dr Manohar Lal Sharma while castigating Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief for interfering in the internal matters of the country said that Pakistan would never get its dream of having Kashmir fulfilled. He recalling Pakistan as epicenter of terrorism said that Pakistan despite injecting the venom of terror in our country should bother for its people.
Criticize State coalition Government partner BJP responsible of adopting stepmother treatment with Jammu province, he said that BJP, which got a massive vote from Jammu in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in 2014, has once again ignored and discriminated people of Jammu province during the  Amarnath Yatra.
Subash Chander Gupta said that one could bring here innumerable instances to prove that the BJP has caused more harm to Jammu than Kashmiri ruling elite. He said that the people of Jammu are not only facing the dissimilar problems related to availabilities of basic amenities however, now  Government trying to keep away the people of Jammu from the medical facilities.
“Hike in Prices of essential commodities and non availability of ration supply to eligible beneficiaries  not being included in the BPL list, scarcity of drinking water in Kandi area, replacement of damaged transformers and failure of regular supply of power are few of them”, he added.
Subash Gupta also demanded early starting of construction work of infrastructure of 30 to 100 bedded at Sub District Hospital Hiranagar as amount of 80 lakh stand sanctioned during UPA Government by Ghulam Nabi Azad, the then Union Health Minister which is lying with XEn R & B Kathua  since 2013.
Naresh Sharma Ex President MC Kathua, Rattan Chand Karotra, Kulbir Singh Pathania, Aradhana Andotra, Vijay Tagotra, Suriender Singh, Jag Ram, Yogesh Singh and others were among protesters.
