DC will look to continue winning streak at Feroz Shah Kotla

NEW DELHI: Delhi Capitals will hope to continue their winning streak when they take on Kings XI Punjab in the IPL match on Saturday as after three straight wins, Capitals were defeated by Mumbai Indians on Thursday.
The loss left Delhi Capitals third in the table, with 10 points, while KXIP also have been placed fourth with same points.
So far, Delhi have played four matches at home ground in IPL 2019, winning just one — a Super Over victory over Kolkata Knight Riders. Delhi’s four other wins this season have been away from home and that would be something Kings XI Punjab would be hoping to take advantage of.
KXIP too, have won just one match away from the home ground and lost three on the road. Punjab will not be short on confidence, as they have easily beaten Rajasthan Royals three days ago.
In terms of batting, the onus will be on senior pro Shikhar Dhawan to lay the foundation, and he will have the talented Prithvi Shaw at the top of the order, while for KXIP, the likes of Chris Gayle, K L Rahul, David Miller and Mohammed Shami can easily create a trouble for Delhi at home.
As far as the bowling department is concerned, DC will be more dependent on Purple cape holder Kagiso Rabada who has so far, taken 19 wickets, while from the KXIP end Ravichandran Ashwin will share bowling responsibility.
