ITI Rajouri hosts Mobile Repair Technician Course

RAJOURI, Sept 11: In a significant stride towards uplifting underprivileged youth, Vikas Kundal, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, graced the premises of the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Rajouri today. The purpose of the visit was to gauge the progress and impact of the Mobile Repair Technician course, a tailored initiative sponsored under the SANKALP program that aims to empower the region’s disadvantaged youth.
The Mobile Repair Technician course, devised with the vision of transforming the lives of 25 underprivileged youngsters, has demonstrated remarkable progress since its inception. A hallmark of this program is its commitment to ensure placement opportunities for all trainees upon successful completion, thereby paving the way for sustainable livelihoods in Rajouri.
During his visit, Vikas Kundal engaged with both the dedicated trainees and instructors to gain valuable insights into the curriculum and practical training components. He expressed his profound satisfaction with the quality of education imparted and the unwavering dedication exhibited by the students and instructors alike. This course will equip the participants with the practical skills essential in today’s digital age, not only fostering self-reliance but also contributing significantly to the socio-economic growth of the region.
In a laudable move to bolster the trainees’ journey, it was announced that upon the successful conclusion of the course, each participant will receive a stipend of Rs 1000, providing them with the much-needed financial support during their transition into the workforce.
