SRINAGAR, May 10: The Deputy Commissioner Baramulla today suspended Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Boniyar, over alleged gross dereliction of duty, poor performance and failure to submit the required Action Plan.
An order (10/DCB/BLA,2026 dated 10-05-2026) issued here by the Additional Deputy Commissioner reads: “In view of the gross dereliction of duty, poor performance and failure to submit the required Action Plan, Abdul Rehman Lone, ZEO Boniyar is here by placed under suspension with immediate effect, pending initiation of formal disciplinary proceedings.”
The order stated that during the suspension period, the officer shall remain attached with the Office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla till further orders.
