DODA, Oct 17: Deputy Commissioner Doda Bhupinder Kumar today directed the concerned for adopting pro-active approach to ensure the completion of works taken under district plan in time bound manner.
He was addressing a meeting of district officers convened here today to review pace of progress of works taken up under District Plan.
There should be commensurate physical and financial achievements in the works taken under District plan and all the up- to -date released funds should be utilized by December, DC directed to all the district officers attending the meeting.
It was exhorted upon the Public Health Engineering, Public Works Department, Irrigation and Health Departments to lift their loan components from the banks immediately so that the future progress on the works could be achieved.
Highlighting the importance of maintaining the photographs for keeping the track of the progress achieved under various projects, DC directed the heads of Soil Conservation and Forest Departments to submit the stage wise photographs of the works undertaken by their department.
The District Panchayat Officer was asked to ensure that all the completed toilets constructed under Integrated House Hold Latrines (IHHL) should be photographed and the photographs along with details should be submitted to DC office so that the data base generated will be used to conduct surprise inspections and verifications.
Chief Education Officer was asked to take up the matter with State Project Director so that the funds under RMSA and SSA could be immediately released.
