RAJOURI, Apr 21: Taking a strong note of the unauthorized absence of the doctors posted in Public Health Centre Budhal, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Deepti Uppal has served explanation notices to two doctors including Medical Officer of the hospital.
Reports said DC Rajouri today visited Budhal area of Rajouri and conducted surprise inspection at PHC Budhal after receiving complaints of dereliction of duty by staff. During inspection, two senior doctors of the said hospital including Medical Officer, Dr Jahangir Khan and Dental Surgeon, Dr Heena Kouser were found unauthorizedly absent from duty. Locals of the area also registered their complaint about regular absence of several officers of PHC Budhal from duty after which Deputy Commissioner served explanation notices to both the doctors and asked them to reply why stern disciplinary action should not be initiated against them.
Besides this, BMO Kandi has also been directed to conduct a detailed inquiry into the matter and submit detailed report before the office of Deputy Commissioner.
