SAMBA, Mar 12: District Development Commissioner Samba (Deputy Commissioner), Sheetal Nanda, today inaugurated Single Window System in the DC Office complex, Samba.
With the operationalisation of this system, all the official correspondences, public grievances and all application will be received at single point and the movement of file can be made in transparent manner for efficient monitoring by all stake holders. This will help the general public as well as departments to know the status of their files without moving from table to table.
Speaking on the occasion, DC impressed upon all the officers to implement the system in right spirit and render efficient services to public. She further said that the system is to improve the working of this office and no inordinate lapses/delay would be accepted.
The function was attended by all the officers of DC Office, who included Additional District Development Commissioner, Vivek Sharma, Addl. Deputy Commissioner, Samba, Inderjeet Bhagat, Chief Planning officer, Samba Davinder Singh and other senior officers of the complex.
The backbone application of Single Window System is JKFMS, a file tracking system developed by NIC. On the occasion V.S Pathania, District Informatics Officer, NIC Samba, gave technical and product features of the application.
