SAMBA, Mar 8: Deputy Commissioner Samba, Sushma Chauhan today handed over a three wheeler scooty to Vijay Kumar, person with special abilities.
Deputy Commissioner said that the life of Vijay Kumar was restricted on crutches and he was unable to earn bread and butter for their family. “Such initiatives shall support him for his mobility so that he can also live a dignified and full of rights life,” he said.
Under Corporate Social Responsibility, district administration Samba arranged this support mechanism for people with special abilities, and it was informed by Deputy Commissioner that many more such initiatives shall be taken up in near future.
Vijay Kumar, PwD, expressed his appreciation to District Administration Samba for infusing a support mechanism and confidence in his life.
During the handing over ceremony Jagdish Kumar, representative Red Cross society besides other officials was also present.
