Jammu, Aug 10: Haji Bahar-ud -Din Malik, father of DC Poonch M H Malik, today left for heavenly abode after a brief illness.
He was 86 years old. As per KAS Association Public Secretary, SP Rukwal, he had light breakfast in the morning, but skipped lunch. He felt uncomfortable and was given medicines for chest congestion. After little while, when he did not get relief from the pain, he was rushed to the hospital where he was declared having left the world.
KAS officers have condoled the demise and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family. Director Information Tassaduq Jeelani has also condoled the demise.
