DC pays ex-gratia for persons, cattle injured in border shelling

KATHUA, Oct 28: Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Ramesh Kumar today visited Sub District Hospital Hiranagar where the five Pak shelling victims of border villages of Babia and Loundi are under going treatment.
The DC paid Rs 5000 as ex-gratia to each one of injured besides he paid Rs five thousand each for seven injured cattle to their owners out of SDRF.
The DC was accompanied by SDM Sohan Lal and other officers. Besides, the border area representatives Ashok Kumar and Bharat Bushan also accompanied him. The DC said the people hit by the border shelling will be provided free ration etc till they return to their homes and hearts.
