KISHTWAR, Apr 3: Deputy Commissioner Ashok Sharma today inaugurated the Computerised Radiography system and 300 MA, Digital X -Ray Machine here at the district hospital.
He was accompanied by Chief Medical Officer, Dr R S Manhas, Medical Superintendent District Hospital, Dr Parveez Iqbal Wani, Senior Surgeon Dr Ravinder Singh, Radiologist DH Sham Lal besides other officials.
The DC Kishtwar was informed by the Medical Superintendent that the system has been sanctioned under the World Bank project with aims to augment the radiology section of the hospital besides systems offering in-house, high-quality digital imaging to fit workflow.
Meanwhile, the DC Kishtwar also inspected the various sections of the hospital and took first hand appraisal of the functioning of these sections.
He asked the MS District Hospital to project the requirement of infrastructure so that it could be highlighted in the next budget.
