One person has lodged his grievance and alleged that Rohit Singh has encroached the Shar-e-Aam/Bandobasti Path which is leading towards the Khasra No.735 of village Lachkhazana which is in the ownership of the complainant.
Accordingly, the Deputy Commissioner has constituted a committee comprising of Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kishtwar, Tehsildar Kishtwar, Naib Tehsildar Kishtwar, GQ Circle Kishtwar, Patwari Kishtwar and Patwari Matta to visit the spot and thoroughly investigate the matter by using revenue record provided by the revenue staff and remove the encroachment if any.
When contacted by EXCELSIOR, Assistant Commissioner Revenue expressed ignorance about such order and said, “I will have to check the record”. This is notwithstanding the fact that permission for construction of commercial building was granted by the Assistant Commissioner Revenue. Moreover, even the construction work has not been stopped till the completion of spot verification.
