UDHAMPUR, June 2: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Neeraj Kumar today convened a meeting with the public representatives, heads of local bodies , leaders and prominent citizens of the district to get firsthand account of the problems faced by the people in the district.
Detailed discussions were held on various issues including traffic management, black topping of roads, solid waste management, removal of encroachment, creation of parking area etc. Besides this, discussions were also held regarding recycling of waste and installation of CCTV cameras at important places in the town.
DC assured all present that their genuine problems would be addressed and all possible avenues would be explored to redress them at the earliest. He sought public participation and support to bring about necessary changes into effect.
Among others, ADC Angrez Singh Rana, ACR Subhash Dogra, CPO Rakesh Jamwal, CMO Dr. Chandar Prakash, X-Ens of various departments and other district officers were also present in the meeting.
