DC inspects DH Ramban, reviews healthcare facilities

RAMBAN, Jan 16: Deputy Commissioner, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, today visited District Hospital Ramban and reviewed healthcare facilities being extended to patients especially in the wake of inclement weather besides checking punctuality of doctors and paramedical staff in the health institution.
Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Saif-Ud-Din Khan, Medical Superintendent DH Dr. J P Singh and other staff members were present on the occasion.
The DC reviewed the sanitation condition, attendance of doctors and staff members, stock position of medicines and other equipments.
In view of the strike of NHM staff, DC directed the Superintendent to cancel the sanctioned earned leave of all the employees with directions to resume their duty for convenience of the ailing.
DC also interacted with the patients and attendants and enquired about the facilities being extended to them by the hospital. He directed the CMO to ensure duty roster of doctors and paramedical staff on notice board besides displaying the stock position of medicines and other available facilities.
He also inspected the ongoing construction work on Eye block and doctor’s residential quarter and directed the executing agencies to complete the same within prescribed time.
