JAMMU, Dec 22: Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu Y P Bourney today granted five days police remand of Syed Muried Hussain Shah, Deputy Commissioner Excise Executive (now under suspension).
The officer, who was nabbed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau yesterday while demanding and accepting Rs 2 lakh bribe, was produced before the court today.
After hearing Chief Prosecuting Officer Rajesh Bakshi, the court granted five days police remand of the officer.
