DODA, Nov 20: To reduce the risks of road accidents across the district, District Administration under the supervision of DC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode and in collaboration with Traffic Police Department kick-started tough action against the traffic rule violators which often put the lives of passengers in danger.
In this regard DC Doda also conduct a surprised checking of passenger vehicles on the adjoining link roads of the town and also ceased the documents of a vehicle found overloaded and handover the documents of the ceased vehicle to the MVD to impose penalty under new guidelines of MVD act.
Moreover, DC Doda also convened a meeting with the authorities of Traffic Police Department and MVD of the district like SSP Traffic DySP Traffic and ARTO and asked them to attain the tough attitude against the erring passenger vehicles in order to ensure the safety of the people of this district.
DC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode ask the authorities to conduct regular and tough checking of all the passenger vehicles and all their respective documents. Special focus should be laid on the fitness of the vehicles, he said and also asked them to keep their men and machinery on toes to avoid any future accident.
