JAMMU, Apr 6: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Advocate Hunar Gupta seeking inquiry into illegal settlement of immigrants from Myanmar and Bangladesh in Jammu and their deportation, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice Baddar Durez Ahmed and Justice Tashi Rabstan today directed the State and Union of India to file objections within three weeks.
After hearing Senior Advocate Sunil Sethi with Advocate Hunar Gupta for the PIL whereas Senior AAG WS Nargal for the State and ASGI Sindu Sharma for the Union of India, the DB also directed State and Union of India to file response to the objections filed by the Mohd Younus, son of Hosin Akter of Myanmar seeking to intervene in the PIL.
