JAMMU, Feb 27: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by one Jagdev Singh seeking quashing of the contract for Public Private Partnership in Government Medical College and Super Specialty Hospital with one Krishna Diagnostic Private Limited, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur  expressed dissatisfaction with the objections filed by the Under Secretary to Government and sought fresh status report.
The petitioner appearing in person submitted that private respondent was collecting charges for investigation(s) as per the already existing Government rates. “Rates chargeable are not displayed in the Scan Centre run by the private respondent and the instructions already issued in respect of other aspects are not followed by the Government”, he added.
Upon this, Division Bench directed Secretary to Government, Health and Medical Education Department for filing status report within two weeks.
