JAMMU, Sept 16: In a petition challenging the constitutional validity of Jammu and Kashmir Civic Laws (Special Provision) Act, Division Bench of High Court comprising Chief Justice M M Kumar and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur today directed State to file reply before the next date of hearing.
After hearing Advocate Ajay Sharma and Advocate Parag Sharma for the petitioners, DB directed State to file reply before the next date of hearing failing which matter shall be heard without reply.
In the contempt petition against Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Division Bench directed respondent to file objections before the next date of hearing because the Deputy Commissioner Reasi is stated to be busy in arranging help and aid for the poor people on account of unprecedented situation created by floods.
