JAMMU, Mar 2: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Advocate Ravi Abrol seeking upgradation of Jammu airport, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice Tashi Rabstan today directed the State to file compliance report before March 29, 2019.
After hearing Senior Advocate Sunil Sethi with Advocate Ravi Abrol for the PIL whereas Advocate Inderjeet Gupta for the Airport Authority of India and Senior AAG SS Nanda for the State, the DB directed the State to file compliance report of order dated February 4, 2019.
“A grievance is additionally made with regard to the failure of the State Government to commence night flights from the Jammu Airport. The issues require response of the State Government”, the DB had mentioned in the earlier order.
